It's been quite a year so far! Now I'm ready to take the next step in my career. Roodboi Productions is in transition from my personal website used for showcasing my talents, to a professional site offering professional services. I've enlisted the talents of other artists who excel in their own fields. My goal is to have many different artists who specialize in different fields
and be a full service production company. I'm getting there little by little. We're building this thing from scratch. If you or anyone you know has creative talents please send them my way. I'm always looking for new members of the RP team!

Update! 04/29/2009

It's been quite a while since I updated!

Well as I hinted at before I'm back in school. I'm attending SAE Institute (of technology?) in North Miami Beach. I'm taking their Digital Post Production course. Its been 4 months now and I've already learned A LOT! I'm really enjoying school. It's been really intense hard work but very fun and rewarding.

I'm in school till October then I plan to take a week (at least) vacation.

I've updated the site. I added an SAE page so you can see the school projects I've been working on. I also added some new videos to my videos page. One of them, The Julio Lora Show, was just something I put together with my classmates. The other two vids are my latest Short Reports.

I'll try to update before school is out. Hopefully I'll be adding more vids in the next 5 months.

I've been too busy to update lately. And I will only get busier. I have a big project I'm working on for the rest of the year. I can't talk about it now because its very hush hush. But when its done I'll tell you all about it!

Then  I'm starting  something even bigger. I'm going  back to school! Yes I thought once I got my BA I would never go back. But I found a great school to get some hands on training in Post Production. It will give me the skills I need to  channel my creativity into something legitimate. I'm so excited. I start in Jan and end in October. So you may not see any updates for a while.

I will probably continue to do short reports here and there. I'm very proud of my Short Special on my surgery. I'll still be available should anyone need my services or want to get their stuff on my site. Email me via the contact page.

Stay Tuned!!

It's Official! 09/15/2008

Yes! We finally have the domain name. So we are now officially www.RoodboiProductions.com.

Create Miami 09/08/2008

I just started a group on Facebook called Create Miami. Its a group for creative people in the area. I'm hoping to start a community. Ed is part of the growing Tech community in South Florida and I want to get that same thing going for creatives. I'm hoping lots of people will join. There's no shortage of creative and amazingly talented people in Miami.

If you're interested please join us at Create Miami.

This is very exciting!! We've just launched our "Services" page. This means we now offer our services, officially, to the public.

Roodboi Productions is still a place to showcase your art. But my goal is to turn this into a real production company. So we now offer our services as well as the services of other artists on the site.

Don't worry, we don't take ourselves too seriously. This is just an exciting step in the right direction. We encourage other artists to join Roodboi Productions. Get in on the ground floor. We're going places!

This is exciting! We've added a new artist to  our roster. Welcome Pixel Perfect Design! Check out their work. If you're interested in using Pixel Perfect Design for any of your graphic design needs please go to the contact page and let us know!

By the way if you want to use Roodboi Productions for your audio or video needs you can contact us the same way.

New audio track 08/21/2008

I added some new audio. A rap at that. It will either make you laugh or cringe. But either way it will probably make my dad happy. I'm always hearing him say things like "remember when you used to write raps?". It's funny how my musical talent peaked at 9.

Just finished Episode 2 of Meli's Short. Report!

I think it shows improvement from the first installment. The beginning credits are really sharp and professional looking. It could be the beginning of a real TV show.

While making this video I realized that of all the things I did to make it (writing, performing, directing, editing) the thing I enjoyed the most by far was editing. It really allows you to use your creativity to the fullest. Trust me if I could get someone else to stand in front of the camera I would. I'm not made of steel and those youtube comments cut like a knife. But I'm all I have right now.

Coming up with material is so hard. People are always telling me that I'm funny and I should be on stage but being off the cuff and preparing a bit are 2 totally different things. If someone could get my funny moments on video we'd have gold. But whenever I try to recreate something it always seems really unfunny to me. In my videos I find that the parts of just me talking are the most boring and unfunny parts.

Anyway I had technical difficulties getting this video uploaded but its finally here. Episode 2. Check it out.
